What BeatTaste Is

BeatTaste ("we," "us," "our," "the Platform") is a curated beat discovery service. We independently research, listen to, and hand-select instrumental music tracks — commonly known as "beats" — and present them in a structured, searchable catalog for artists, songwriters, and music creators to explore.

BeatTaste is a discovery and curation platform, not a music marketplace. We do not sell licenses, process payments, host transactions, or act as an agent or intermediary between artists and producers in any commercial capacity. Every beat listed on BeatTaste remains the exclusive intellectual property of its respective producer or rights holder. We do not claim any ownership over the beats featured on the platform.

When you wish to license, purchase, or obtain any rights to a beat you discover here, you will be directed to the producer's page on an external third-party marketplace where the actual licensing transaction takes place under that platform's own terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use BeatTaste. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the platform and that they have read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By using BeatTaste, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, that you are not prohibited from using the platform under any applicable law, and that all registration information you provide is accurate and truthful.

Your Account

Creating an account on BeatTaste is entirely free. To register, you will provide an email address and create a password, or authenticate through a supported third-party sign-in provider. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. BeatTaste is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to protect your account information.

Each person may maintain only one account. Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice, if we have reason to believe you have violated these Terms, abused the platform, or engaged in any activity that harms other users or the integrity of BeatTaste. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

What You Can Do on BeatTaste

The following features are available to all visitors without registration:

• Browse and search the full beat catalog
• Apply filters — genre, BPM, key, mood, instruments, artist type, upload date
• Stream and listen to any beat directly in the built-in player
• View individual beat pages, producer profiles, and metadata
• Follow external links to producer pages on third-party marketplaces

Registered users additionally get access to:

• Downloads — download the preview MP3 file of any beat in the catalog, free of charge, for personal non-commercial use (see Section 5)
• Likes — save beats you enjoy to your personal liked list for quick reference
• Playlists — organize beats into private playlists for your own creative workflow
• Text Drafts — write and save lyric ideas, concepts, or notes directly on the platform, linked to individual beats or stored in your private workspace
• Feed — receive personalized updates and new beat suggestions based on your activity

Downloads

Files available for download on BeatTaste are preview-quality MP3 files intended solely for personal, non-commercial listening, inspiration, and creative reference. These files do not constitute a license to use the beat commercially, to release music containing the beat, to distribute, broadcast, sync, or otherwise exploit the beat in any way.

Downloading a beat from BeatTaste does not grant you any rights to the underlying composition, sound recording, or any other intellectual property associated with the beat. To use a beat in a release, recording, video, broadcast, or any other commercial or public context, you must obtain a proper license directly from the producer or rights holder through the appropriate marketplace.

Downloaded preview files may be used only for private, non-commercial purposes such as:

• Personal listening and evaluation
• Writing or recording demo/scratch vocals over the track for your own private review
• Sharing with collaborators for internal creative discussion

Any other use — including but not limited to releasing music containing the beat, uploading to streaming platforms, using in videos, performing publicly, or distributing in any form — strictly requires a separate license obtained from the rights holder.

Downloads by registered users may be logged for internal analytics and abuse prevention purposes. This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All beats, instrumentals, sound recordings, and musical compositions featured on BeatTaste are the property of their respective creators, producers, and rights holders. BeatTaste does not own, co-own, or claim any rights in any beat listed on the platform. Our role is limited to discovery, curation, and presentation.

All other content on BeatTaste — including but not limited to the site design, interface, layout, logo, editorial copy, metadata annotations, filter systems, waveform visuals, and software — is owned by or licensed to BeatTaste and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any platform content without our express prior written permission.

"BeatTaste" and associated logos and brand elements are trademarks of BeatTaste. You may not use these marks without prior written consent.

User-Generated Content

Registered users may create content on BeatTaste, including playlist names, playlist descriptions, and text drafts (lyrics, ideas, notes). You retain full ownership of any content you create. BeatTaste does not claim any rights to your personal drafts or notes.

By submitting or storing content on the platform, you grant BeatTaste a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and store on BeatTaste. You agree not to submit content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise violates these Terms or applicable law.

Playlists and text drafts are private by default and are not visible to other users. BeatTaste will not share your private content with third parties except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

Prohibited Uses

When using BeatTaste, you agree that you will not:

• Use any beat downloaded from the platform in a commercial release, public distribution, broadcast, sync, or any other commercial context without first obtaining a proper license from the rights holder
• Reproduce, redistribute, resell, or sublicense any beat preview files to third parties
• Use downloaded files as training data for any artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative AI system without express written authorization from the respective rights holder
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts to access, extract, or index any content from the platform without our prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, its servers, databases, or related systems
• Upload, transmit, or distribute malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage or disrupt systems
• Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any security features or access controls
• Use VPNs, proxies, or other tools to mask your identity for purposes of abuse or circumventing restrictions
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the platform or connected networks
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the platform
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free features, circumvent restrictions, or inflate any metrics
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to immediately terminate access for any user found to be in violation of these prohibitions, and to pursue any legal remedies available to us.

Third-Party Links & External Marketplaces

BeatTaste contains links to third-party websites and platforms — including beat marketplaces such as BeatStars, Airbit, and others — where you can license or purchase beats directly from producers. These links are provided as a convenience to help you connect with the creators whose work we feature.

BeatTaste has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, terms of service, pricing, licensing terms, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Any transaction you enter into on an external platform is strictly between you and that platform (and/or the producer). BeatTaste is not a party to any such transaction and accepts no liability in connection with it.

We strongly encourage you to read the terms and conditions of any external platform before completing any purchase or licensing agreement. A link appearing on BeatTaste does not constitute an endorsement of the linked platform or any offer made therein.

Copyright Infringement & DMCA

BeatTaste respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that we believe, in good faith, to be infringing.

If you believe that any content accessible through BeatTaste infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to the contact address in Section 16 containing:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it on the platform
• Your contact information including name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

If you believe that content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice with your contact information and a statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake. Please contact us at the address in Section 16.

Disclaimer of Warranties

BeatTaste is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, metadata, or external links

We do not warrant that any particular beat will remain available on the platform at any given time. Beats may be added or removed at our sole discretion, and availability on external marketplaces is entirely outside our control.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some limitations above may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BeatTaste and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your reliance on any content or beat information on the platform
• Damages arising from any transaction conducted on a third-party marketplace accessed via a link from BeatTaste
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the platform

In no event shall BeatTaste's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims exceed USD $100 or the amount you have actually paid to BeatTaste in the preceding twelve (12) months, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for certain damages, so some limitations above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BeatTaste and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the platform or any content obtained through it
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights
• Any commercial use you make of a beat without obtaining a proper license
• Any content you submit, post, or store on the platform

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. In some cases, we may also notify registered users by email or through an in-platform notification.

Your continued use of BeatTaste after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the platform and may delete your account at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which BeatTaste operates.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BeatTaste with respect to your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
